    In the 1970s the Kantorei Boy Singers toured various countries in Europe
    and various states in the U. S. Tony's mother was their accompanist.
    1985: Graduated from high school in the top 20 from a class of 375. Also
    received several other honors on Honors Day.

    Participated in Operations Deny Flight and Deliberate Force during two
    deployments to Aviano Air Base, Italy. Personal awards: the Air Strike
    Flight Medal with roman numeral four and the Navy/Marine Corps
    Achievement Medal.
    Tony was part of a two-man U.S. Marine crew whose airplane was lost at
    sea while on a routine mission off the coast of North (or south)
    Carolina. There was no trace of the pilot, Tony who was the weapons
    navigator, or the plane. A memorial service was held in Rockford,
    Illinois the following week.
    Tony's memorial, a flight simulator, was dedicated at the Discovery
    Center on N. Main Street in Rockford, IL, on his 30th birthday, September
    30, 1997. The Discovery Center is an interesting and educational place
    for children to visit.
    Tony was part of a two-man U.S. Marine crew whose airplane was lost at
    sea while on a routine mission off the coast of North (or south)
